Sweet Earth Doula is the culmination of my clinical education and experience merged with my holistic lifestyle and values. Having attended births in multiple roles for over 14 years, I’ve witnessed first-hand the need of basic support for the birthing parent and their families.

Support starts with meeting my clients where they are at. Whether you’re a first time parent wary of the uncharted territory of labor or a seasoned parent hoping for a better birth experience, you deserve support.

The foundation of my practice is rooted in empowerment through informed choice. When it comes to birth, there are a lot of opinions. My intention is to always bring you evidence based information to help you plan and achieve your desired birth. You have the power to birth on your own terms! Home birth, hospital birth, medicated or unmedicated, your decisions should never dictate the care you receive.

Rachel currently works in family planning and reproductive healthcare, specializing in access within the LGBTQIA+ community.

Location

I currently reside in the Richmond, VA area, but I do accept clients within a 30 mile radius.

Limited Scheduling

I typically limit my schedule to 2-3 birth per month to avoid overlapping due dates with other clients.
